I actually didn't end up going to bed until well past midnight, so this is my 1:38am test. I'm including it here because it is technically a CD 16 test.

Cervix was high and medium when I took the picture. Scratched the surface of the cervix. Turned HSO during the day. Cervical fluid is eggwhite but sparse so I used preseed.

OPK was almost positive at 4:00 and positive by 7:30. I expect to ovulate tomorrow.

Cervix feels like it is more open. Some ewcm observed.

OPK is negative at 4pm, I suspect it will be positive or near positive tomorrow, according to the cramping.

OPK is negative, but I am having definite cramping that means a + opk is coming in the next few days.

I decided to take EPO because the lack of fertile cervical fluid makes me nervous. My uterus has started feeling tender which means I'm kind of close to ov.

cervix seems to be approaching fertile. Cervical fluid is watery.

OPK is negative.

23andme MTHFR

One of my searches into my infertility led me to the suspicion that I might have MTHFR. I did a 23andme.com kit and got my results back a few days ago.

For those that do not know, 23andme is a genotyping test that screens your DNA for about a million different genetic issues. MTHFR is one of those issues.


The kit took about 7 weeks to complete after it was received by the lab.

I am positive compound heterozygous for MTHFR, which you will not be surprised to find has the highest rate of miscarriage for any of the combinations of the mutation.
For those interested, my results are included in this post.

What does this mean for me? I will have to get new supplements of the already processed form of Folate/Folic Acid and take that instead of Folic Acid. That should stop the majority of my losses. We hope.

Good to have at least one answer.

Things to note: Clomid seems to have made me ovulate earlier and lengthened my LP. This is very good.

This next cycle ill be using Clomid on CD 1-5 but I won't be using the soy or EPO because it is too hard on my ovaries.

I don't think I am miscarrying. I think I had crappy tests.

I am sorry I haven't updated until now, I was trying to see what would happen. At the beginning of this cycle my temperatures were far too high and my period was too short. I'm thankful I am not pregnant because I had already taken 4 days of Clomid before I considered the possibility (at that point I was just pouting).

So, onwards, I suppose.

Woke up this morning to creamy cervical fluid, started spotting later that day.

I don't think I'm miscarrying, I think I had a bad batch of tests. On to next cycle!
